The game of Four Card Poker involves playing two types of game in a single play. It consists of the ante play and the Aces up. The Aces up is the second portion of the game where the player is able to receive a payment once they play a hand of a pair of aces. The amount that a player wins is based on the pay table.

The Four Card Poker basically uses a deck of 52 cards on a table similar to the one used in blackjack. Each player will have a marked area consisting of ante, aces up and 1 to 3 times the ante bet. Each player needs to make an independent bet by placing their wagers on the allotted marked betting areas of ante or aces up or on both. Once a player plays for both bets the same amount is required on each bet.

The players will be dealt with 5 cards each where they need to play for the four best card hands. The dealer on the other hand will get 6 cards to make the best four cards with one of the card dealt face up.

The player is given the option to either fold or make an additional bet which must not fall below the minimum bet allowed which is equal to the original bet made by a player. The player can play a maximum of 3 times their original bet.

The winner is determined based on the hand rankings of each player. The player with the highest hand wins the pot. The Four Card Poker also has its own bonus feature that allows the player to win additional payout based on the hand they play regardless whether they win against the dealer or not. The payout rate is always different among casinos.
